For starters, the wood is a very light wood with not much to it. And the holes to put the brackets into aren’t at the same level. The mounting brackets should have been made in one piece like the LACK shelf from IKEA, but they’re both separate which is a pain in the neck. Once you get them matched up and the shelf on a level, you’re already three rounds of swearing in. But it was $23. It isn’t terrible, but it’s worth about $5.
