We purchased this piece to go in our laundry room expansion. We have lots of open shelving, but I wanted a small space with doors to hide certain things like sponges and rags, etc.I loved that this piece can be stacked on top of each other or separated or even used in two different spaces. It was easy to assemble. Therefore, this isn't a heavy duty item. I wouldn't store items in there that are very heavy. I do have bottles of detergent, fabric softener, and pretreater in there, and there's no issue so far.My only complaint is that the way the doors mount makes it look like they're uneven. You can see this in my photo, and you can also see it in the product image on Amazon. This wasn't enough for me to be displeased. Overall, I'd buy this again for sure. And I'd recommend to others if looking for something similar
